About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney to work with high-net-worth individuals on complex trust and estate matters while developing expertise in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Advise high-net-worth clients on trust and estate matters, including estate planning, tax strategies, and administration.
  • Draft complex wills and trusts tailored to client needs.
  • Manage the administration of estates from probate through final closing, ensuring all tax filings and legal requirements are met.
  • Prepare client presentations and conduct tax calculations and analyses.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to deliver superior client service.

Requirements

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Pennsylvania Bar Admission or the ability to waive in.
  • LL.M. and strong tax background required.
  • 5+ years of substantive law firm experience in estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
  • Demonstrated drafting and estate administration skills, including experience with complex wills and trusts.
  • Proficiency in preparing client presentations, tax calculations and analysis, and administering estates from probate through closing.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage client contact.
  • Supervisory skills to direct paralegals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record, Pennsylvania Bar Admission or the ability to waive in, an LL.M. and strong tax background, 5+ years of substantive law firm experience in estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, demonstrated drafting and estate administration skills, proficiency in preparing client presentations, tax calculations and analysis, and administering estates from probate through closing, detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage client contact, and supervisory skills to direct paralegals in a collaborative environment.

Skills

Strong legal research and writing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
