Role Overview This position involves performing pharmacy duties such as compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. It emphasizes providing empathetic patient consultations, including medication counseling, immunizations, diagnostic testing, and clinical services to enhance patient outcomes and experience. Key Responsibilities Dispense and review prescriptions, interpret medication orders, and manage drug therapies.Support patient care through consultations, immunizations, and wellness services, addressing patient concerns and resolving issues.Assist with centralized support functions like patient registration and issue resolution, both in-person and virtually.Contribute to team development, promote teamwork, and support training initiatives.Analyze performance data and oversee pharmacy operations including inventory management and regulatory compliance.Maintain relationships with healthcare providers, ensure accurate communication, and clarify prescriptions.Stay current with pharmacy systems, technology, and industry trends, including processing insurance claims and participating in community outreach.Drive continuous improvement in pharmacy services, ensure adherence to legal and safety standards, and seek professional development. Qualifications & Skills BS in Pharmacy or equivalent degree, with a valid pharmacist license.Experience in prescription dispensing, knowledge of controlled substance laws, and familiarity with pharmacy software systems.Willingness to work in diverse environments and travel as needed.Preferred experience includes specialty services, medication management, and familiarity with pharmacy technology.
