Hybrid MCAT Prep Instructor - University of Chicago

About the role

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver MCAT prep and/or other educational content tailored to student needs. Prepare future doctors for the MCAT using teaching methods and a carefully curated curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Immerse students in the language of the MCAT through innovative teaching methods and a meticulously designed curriculum.
• Support students both in and out of class, enhancing their problem-solving skills across the sciences.
• Utilize data to identify and address gaps in learning for underrepresented students.
• Continuously improve your skills through comprehensive professional training, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Enjoy a flexible, part-time teaching schedule that allows you to work remotely from home.
• Potential for additional part-time employment opportunities based on business needs and meeting certain requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum eight-month commitment to the role.
• Minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Scores within the 90th percentile of the MCAT.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently with a remote manager.

• Agile and flexible in responding to quickly changing needs.

Qualifications

• STEM and K12 science teachers with flexible availability during evenings and weekends or over school-calendar breaks.
