About the role
The firm represents employers, businesses, insurers, and professionals in employment, construction, commercial, and professional liability disputes.
Responsibilities
- Managing litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, and other substantive filings.
- Taking and defending depositions, attending hearings and mediations, and preparing for trial.
- Working directly with clients on case strategy, risk assessment, and litigation outcomes.
Requirements
- Active California Bar membership in good standing.
- 4+ years of litigation experience.
- Experience in employment, construction, commercial/business, or professional liability litigation.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships.
- Judicial clerkship experience and strong academic credentials are a plus.
