Hybrid- Inspector/Scale Operator- Cheyenne

Responsibilities

• Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
• Assist and direct customers to the proper location to unload materials.
• Inspect incoming loads for flammable, radioactive, hazardous, and/or leaded materials.
• Inspect materials for liquids, non-metallic items, and all other non-acceptable materials (e.g., propane tanks, PCBs, batteries).
• Ensure any materials not allowed are not left on company property; remove and properly store items or material occasionally.
• Perform general duties involving physical handling of materials and supplies.
• Conduct freon recovery for appliances and drain rack activities.
• Obtain required information from customers for all transactions, complete required purchasing and shipping documents, and conduct daily reconciliations.
• Ensure regulatory and company requirements are met.
• Coordinate shipments (rail and truck) and maintain safety records.
• May assist other workers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 years in an industrial/outdoor work environment.
• Efficient, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with customers.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Working experience around large trucks and heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work with others and be part of the team.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Schedule

Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm and Saturday 7:30am–12pm, with a potential for overtime based on business needs.
