Hybrid Dietitian

About the role

Morrison Healthcare at Mercy Health in Fort Smith, AR offers a unique opportunity for a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible candidate. The position is located in a 280-bed regional hospital that includes a Level III Trauma Center and a new regional cancer center. The schedule is 1 day a week remote, with a rotating weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Provide medical nutrition therapy and education in an acute care setting, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care
• Contribute to quality and performance improvement initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentor and train staff and dietetic interns as applicable

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
