Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer (PaaS)

About the role

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer on a 10-year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer.

Responsibilities

• Supports OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps.
• Deploys OpenShift to new sites as they come online.
• Works with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them.
• Works with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.
• Safeguards data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack.
• Compiles detailed documentation.

Requirements

• Clearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5-8 years Developer experience.
• Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship Required.
• Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with Python, Shell scripting, Git.
• Experience with Linux distributions RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools GitLab CI, Jenkins.
• Experience with Container technology Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general.

• US Citizenship Required.
