Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIP) for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and other behavioral disorders.
  • Implement behavior plans and provide ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and modifications as needed.
  • Provide direct behavior intervention services to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans and generalization of skills.
  • Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques, data collection, and other relevant topics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including progress notes, behavior plans, and data collection sheets.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Current licensure in behavior analysis in Kentucky.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavior analysis and intervention.
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based interventions for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including conducting functional assessments, developing behavior plans, and analyzing data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and professionals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to professional ethics and standards.
