Position Overview
The Deicing Equipment Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing deicing equipment, ground support equipment, service vehicles, tractors/trailers, pumps, hoses and related facility equipment to ensure they remain safe, reliable and operational. This position performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues, maintains accurate records and ensures equipment meets company, airport and regulatory requirements. When maintenance responsibilities are complete, this position will also assist the Operations team with aircraft de/anti-icing activities as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and repair deicing equipment, GSE, vehicles, pumps, hoses and other equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections and equipment checks, and maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Communicate equipment status, outstanding repairs and expected completion timelines with team members and management.
- Identify parts and materials needed for repairs, maintain appropriate inventory and assist with ordering parts and supplies.
- Prepare equipment for de/anti-icing operations, including fueling trucks, servicing equipment and completing required pre-season and pre-event checks.
