- Completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable education / qualification
- Good knowledge in one or more of the following areas: project planning and testing via MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC, grid protection systems
- Knowledge or ideally working experience in the field of Electrical Engineering and Commissioning of Electrical Power Stations or HVDC Systems
- Knowledge in Current- and Voltage Measuring devices and other primary equipment
- Fluent English language skills, further language skills are very welcome
- Willingness for worldwide business trips and mainly long-term assignments on construction sites in Germany and abroad, as well as optional assignments on offshore platforms
- Team player, communicative, proactive, positive handling of conflicts, decision-making capability
About the Role
You will actively advance the Energy Transition by bringing our HVDC projects to a successful completion with our customers.
Responsibilities
You are part of a project team in Integration Testing and you carry out Functional Tests of the Control & Protection hardware and software in one of our test centers.
- Independently trace bugs and support our Software Engineering in debugging
- Execute and document the Functional Performance Tests (FPT) and Dynamic Performance Tests (DPT) of the HVDC System, including Customer Acceptance Tests in one of our test centers
- Be responsible for the commissioning of the Measuring System, the DC Protection System and the Transient Fault Recorder for our HVDC Projects as a part of a highly motivated team, at our customers sites worldwide
- Support our Commissioning Management in Quality, Risk and Claim Management and actively participate in our improvement programs
Requirements
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
Qualifications
