Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Service equipment including split systems, rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, and other commercial HVACR equipment.
- Diagnose system failures using gauges, meters, and diagnostic instruments.
- Repair and replace components while ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret service information and manufacturer recommendations to complete repairs accurately.
- Maintain detailed service documentation and communicate repair recommendations with customers.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while representing the company professionally.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety policies on every jobsite.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime as business needs require.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVACR service experience.
- EPA Universal Certification preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, physical, and motor vehicle record review.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, work indoors and outdoors, climb, crawl, kneel, squat, and work in confined spaces.

Pay
$30–$40 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Full-time schedule with 10-hour workdays, overtime opportunities, and participation in an on-call rotation. This position is based in Roanoke, Virginia, with travel to commercial customer locations throughout the surrounding service area.
