About the role

At Jacobs Heating and Air Conditioning, our technicians and installers depend on the warehouse team to make sure they have the right equipment and materials before heading to a job. We're looking for a reliable HVAC Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver who can organize inventory, prepare upcoming jobs, complete local deliveries, and respond when our field teams need additional support. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys physical work, stays organized, and understands that accuracy and follow-through make a major difference.

This position is more than moving boxes or making deliveries. You'll help prevent missing materials, unnecessary return trips, and job delays by making sure crews are prepared before leaving the shop. You'll have the opportunity to learn common HVAC equipment and parts while becoming a trusted resource for both the warehouse and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and materials for scheduled service and installation jobs
• Compare pulled materials to job lists, work orders, and schedules
• Identify missing, damaged, or incorrect items before they delay a crew
• Label and stage materials in designated locations
• Receive, inspect, and put away incoming stock and equipment
• Load and unload vans and delivery trucks
• Complete local pickups and deliveries safely and on time
• Plan efficient delivery routes and communicate delays
• Track company tools and returned materials
• Restock service and installation vehicles
• Assist with inventory counts and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate delivery, inventory, and material documentation
• Keep the warehouse, yard, shop, loading areas, and vehicles clean and orderly
• Follow safe lifting, vehicle-operation, and material-handling procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely drive a company van or delivery truck
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written instructions and accurately match materials to job paperwork
• Reliable attendance and ability to begin work on time
• Ability to balance scheduled work with urgent field requests
• Professional communication with coworkers, customers, vendors, and supply houses
• Basic computer skills

Warehouse, delivery, inventory, forklift, construction, or HVAC experience is a plus.
