Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on residential HVAC systems in apartments and common areas
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment including compressors, air handlers, thermostats, and condensers
- Complete HVAC service requests efficiently and professionally
- Identify HVAC system issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of HVAC work orders using property management software
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (additional compensation provided)
- Ensure all HVAC work complies with safety standards and Fair Housing regulations
Requirements
- 1+ year of hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician or HVAC Service Technician
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Residential HVAC experience strongly preferred
- Trade school or technical HVAC training a plus
- CPO, HVAC, or CFC certifications are a plus
- Comfortable using mobile devices or computers to complete service documentation
- Ability to safely lift equipment and perform physical HVAC job duties
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and access HVAC systems in mechanical rooms, closets, and ceiling spaces
- Ability to lift and maneuver HVAC tools and equipment safely
