Essential Functions
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing related issues.
- General knowledge and backup of Plumbing skills.
- Respond to emergency service calls promptly.
- Read blueprint, building plans and schematics as required.
- Use a variety of power tools, hand tools and measuring devices/meters to perform job function.
- Perform preventive maintenance on various types plumbing equipment.
- Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification, or installation of equipment.
- Monitor, identify and respond promptly to malfunctioning of equipment.
- Ensures contract performance in accordance with the direction and policies of Chimes DC.
- Performs quality work in accordance with safety procedures.
- Comply with priorities for the flow of work.
- Use technology for the completion of specified job duties.
- Use and care for equipment properly following all safety requirements.
- Attend work regularly according to assigned work schedule.
- Wear ID badge(s) at all times while performing work under this contract.
- Follow instructions.
- Attend and participate in all meetings and activities to facilitate professional development.
- Work cooperatively with others in a positive, enthusiastic, respectful, and courteous manner.
- Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications.
- Pass and comply with rules for the site, security and safety guidelines, and Chimes District of Columbia Rules for the Workplace, and ensure others do the same.
- Assist as needed during Snow removal.
Physical Abilities Needed to Meet Work Demands
- Work requires good dexterity and physical condition.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to go up and down stairs.
- Ability to get into and out of truck.
- Ability to reach above the head, bend, kneel, stoop.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 75 lbs. regularly as needed.
- Ability to work in dusty spaces or adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to see details on the floor, above the head, or on surfaces.

Other requirements
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence and ability to drive.
- License must have been valid for at least 3 years.
- Acceptable driving record as determined by Agency’s insurance carrier and by Chimes DC policies and procedures.
