Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential settings
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
- Respond to service calls and provide timely and effective solutions to customer issues
- Educate customers on system operation and maintenance best practices
- Keep detailed records of work performed and parts used on service calls
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC preferred
- Valid HVAC Journeyman or Masters license and certifications as required by local regulations
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
