HVAC Technician Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Technician with at least 7 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and supervise a team of technicians.

• Services, maintains, and repairs residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Determines general condition of HVAC systems, and can troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions and determine extent of necessary repairs
• Maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Wears floor savers while in the client’s home
• Installs, repairs, and maintains HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ventilation systems
• Orders parts and supplies as needed
• Ensures that all work is performed to company and industry standards
• Maintains accurate records of all work performed
• Trains and mentors other HVAC technicians

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior, successful experience as a Technician in the HVAC industry (NATE certification preferred)
• Strong communication and technical competence
• Pass a thorough background check and drug screen
• Clean driving record
• At least 7 years of experience as an HVAC technician
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be certified in HVAC
• Able to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting and climbing

Compensation

Competitive pay based on experience. Monthly stipend will be added to pay for those who meet certain qualifications. Those who carry an hvac qualifier and are willing to use qualifier with business.
