HVAC Technician (Commercial, Residential)

About the Role

We are hiring an HVAC Trainer (Instructor) to teach the future of HVAC students in a state‑of‑the‑art facility. The instructor will provide hands‑on training, ensure students develop the skills needed for successful careers, and prepare them for certification exams.

Responsibilities

• Teach hands‑on HVAC training in a modern facility.
• Conduct practical sessions that develop student technical skills.
• Encourage student accountability and provide ongoing feedback.
• Support student progress, offering guidance and mentorship.
• Prepare students for certification exams and successful HVAC careers.

Requirements

• HVAC License (required).
• 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Location: New Britain, CT.
• No prior teaching experience required; master certifications are a plus.

Pay

• Salary: $85,000 – $92,000 per year.
• Hourly rate: $40 – $50 per hour.

Schedule

• Light duty, 4 days per week, no weekends.
• Monday‑Thursday, 10‑hour shifts (Friday always off).
