HVAC Technician

About the role

Divine Energy Solutions, an established New Jersey company serving residential customers since 2001, is seeking an experienced HVAC and plumbing installer to lead residential retrofit and new‑construction installations. You will work from Dover, New Jersey, and travel to jobsites throughout the company’s service area, serving as the on‑site point of contact for customers and managing jobsites with a focus on safety, quality, organization, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential HVAC and plumbing retrofit and new‑construction installations
• Perform residential and light‑commercial HVAC installation work
• Manage jobsites while maintaining safety, quality, organization, and professional customer communication
• Install split systems, ductless mini‑splits, ERVs, HRVs, and standard and high‑efficiency HVAC equipment
• Install ductwork, sheet metal, refrigeration piping, and gas piping
• Install wall‑mounted, steam, and hot water boilers, as well as standard and high‑efficiency water heaters
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems, plumbing, controls, equipment, and installation issues
• Coordinate with the installation team to complete projects safely, correctly, and efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC and/or plumbing industry experience (5+ years preferred)
• Residential HVAC retrofit and installation experience
• Experience with residential and light‑commercial HVAC systems
• Experience leading installations and overseeing jobsites
• HVAC and plumbing troubleshooting skills
• Experience with ductwork, sheet metal, refrigeration piping, soldering, and gas piping
• Experience installing boilers and water heaters
• EPA certification preferred (not required)
• NATE certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and ability to reliably travel to assigned jobsites
• Ability to perform the essential duties of HVAC and plumbing installation work, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $30 to $40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8‑hour day shift
