About the role
Execute complex commercial, industrial, and federal HVAC sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installations following blueprints and specifications. Manage daily field operations to ensure safe and timely project completion. Coordinate with project managers and site superintendents to maintain project schedules and optimize material use. Maintain accurate documentation of project progress and quality standards. Resolve technical challenges and air distribution issues on-site to optimize HVAC system performance. Mentor and guide junior apprentices to promote safety and professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a sheet metal journeyman or duct installer with complex HVAC projects.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and duct specifications.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for project needs.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in mechanical and HVAC trades.
- Experience in mentorship and training junior team members.
- Knowledge of industrial ventilation systems and federal or government installations.

Pay
Hourly pay rate of $35 to $40 plus performance bonuses.
