Job Overview

Jenkins Plumbing and Heating Co is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join their growing team. They specialize in residential and commercial HVAC services, offering top-quality installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial settings
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure peak efficiency
• Diagnose system failures and provide effective solutions for repair
• Install and maintain ductwork, electrical connections, and refrigerant lines
• Ensure compliance with EPA regulations and company safety standards
• Work directly with customers to provide exceptional service and answer any questions
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and submit reports in a timely manner
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar HVAC role or related field (training provided)
• EPA Certification (Required)
• Ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair HVAC systems independently
• Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (attics, rooftops, crawl spaces, etc.)
• Valid driver's license and insurable record
• Must be comfortable using smartphone/tablet-based work systems
• Must have own basic tools
