HVAC Technician

About the role

This position involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems that provide heating, cooling, humidifying, dehumidifying, circulating, and filtering functions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect system performance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs or adjustments
• Install and connect components such as compressors, motors, and control devices
• Interpret blueprints and technical manuals
• Ensure systems operate efficiently, reliably, and safely
• Follow all environmental and safety regulations related to refrigerant handling

Requirements

• 4+ years of HVAC experience in light commercial or heavy industrial settings
• EPA Universal Certification
• Valid Real ID

Skills

• Proficiency with tools and test equipment such as voltmeters, gauges, and soldering tools
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in awkward positions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Adherence to safety protocols

Qualifications

• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to respond to emergencies
