HVAC Technician

About the Role

The NPFM (New Product and Facilities Maintenance) Team at Quick Quack Car Wash is expanding. This role involves executing the safe installation of new equipment, managing maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, buildings, grounds, and building systems to ensure uninterrupted services and operations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Facilities team to install all aspects of new equipment.
• Create a safe and positive working atmosphere.
• Maintain a well-rounded facilities maintenance background, including painting, HVAC, mechanical troubleshooting, plumbing, lock repair, and general building repairs.
• Assist other departments with maintenance needs when approved by the COE.
• Perform general building maintenance and car wash maintenance (excluding electrical work).
• Adhere to safety and performance standards.
• Facilitate professional development by conducting on-the-job training and needs assessments.
• Recommend and assist in the development of training curricula.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance (e.g., changing fuses, switches, starter coils, solenoid coils, and electrical eyes).
• Perform upgrades or installations of new equipment.
• Fabrication and welding experience is a plus.
• Recommend and plan maintenance programs and work schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
• Manage maintenance and repair of building grounds, including lawn and landscape services, sanitary upkeep, and parking lot maintenance.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and good DMV record.
• Honest and dependable.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time but home on weekends.
• Must live within one hour of the airport.
• Must be willing to work overtime (45-55 hour work week).
