HVAC Technician

About the role

To assist HVAC/REF. Technicians in maintaining and repairing all existing air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment including exhaust fans and evaporative equipment for the entire property.

Responsibilities

• Report to work timely, in proper uniform and appearance and maintain standard throughout the assigned shift.
• Maintain a schedule of preventative maintenance on all HVAC/REF. equipment.
• Work efficiently and safely with all hand and power tools.
• Install or assist HVAC/REF. technicians and outside contractors on larger installation projects.
• Assist HVAC/REF. technicians and outside contractors on maintenance service contracts.
• Respond to thermostat changes for various department requests.
• Work around electrical, water, and gas feed lines.
• Maintain an orderly schedule of preventative maintenance in casino, restaurants, kitchens, and hotel areas.
• Respond promptly to needs of the company.
• Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure to shift supervisor.
• Attend and successfully complete all internal training courses and requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.
• Five+ years or better in trade.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines pressures.
• Maintain high levels of confidence.
