HVAC Technician
Your Impact
Maintaining heavy commercial rooftop units (RTU's), chillers, large air handlers, large DX split systems, and boilers – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems on Lumen sites.
Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on commercial rooftop units up to 50 tons (RTU's), chillers up to 150 tons, large air handlers, and boilers.
Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment including.
Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 3+ years of experience with Lumen HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
Physical/Work Environment
- Candidates should reside in the Central mountains or Western slope, Colorado area.
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides $50 per diem/per night.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- May need to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
Compensation
Starting at $62,400 up to $122,000 annual salary/DOE

Qualifications

Base Pay Range: $30 - $47 USD
