Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Monitor, program, and maintain energy management systems and associated controls.
- Operate and utilize diagnostic and testing equipment to identify and resolve system issues.
- Complete service documentation, work orders, and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Aid in training and mentoring Apprentice Technicians by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to solve technical challenges and deliver high-quality service.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all company policies and industry safety standards.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service and communicate repair recommendations clearly.
Qualifications
- Experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential and commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Working knowledge of HVAC controls, energy management systems, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Oil Burner License
- Universal Refrigeration Recovery Certification
- NATE Certification (Heating & Air Conditioning)
- Apprentice Massachusetts Refrigeration License
