Responsibilities
- Repair and replace HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, and existing ductwork in residential settings
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose HVAC system malfunctions and provide effective solutions to repair them
- Communicate with clients to explain service options, provide estimates, and address any questions
- Maintain detailed records of services rendered and parts used during repairs and installations
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide clients with the best service possible
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or installer
- Valid HVAC certifications
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, repairs, and installation procedures
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Physical capability to handle manual labor and lift heavy equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in HVAC technology is a plus
