HVAC Technician

About the role

Mennonite Village is seeking an experienced, certified HVAC Technician to perform advanced service, repair, and preventive maintenance across our campus. In this mission-driven role, you will troubleshoot complex HVAC systems, support installations, and deliver courteous, professional service that directly contributes to resident comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC systems
• Serve as a subject matter expert in HVAC and support complex system repairs and installations
• Complete and document work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and inspections accurately in the CMMS
• Deliver courteous, professional, and compassionate service to residents, staff, and leadership

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• HVAC certification required
• Three (3) years of commercial HVAC maintenance and repair experience required
• Minimum of five (5) years of building maintenance experience in construction trades or related field preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Valid Oregon driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems preferred

Pay

$32.00 to $42.00 per hour depending on experience
