Summary
Under general supervision of the Maintenance Field Supervisor, services, maintains and operates building HVAC systems and controls including kitchen equipment, steam boilers, hot water boilers, gas, oil and electric heating and cooling systems in school facilities; and related work as required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate building HVAC systems and controls including kitchen equipment, steam boilers, hot water boilers, gas, oil and electric heating and cooling systems in school facilities.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC systems, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Operate and monitor kitchen equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in HVAC maintenance and operation.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing.
- Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC maintenance and operation.
- Some college coursework in HVAC or related field preferred.

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
