Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair VRV/VRF systems, chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and walk-in freezers/coolers.
- Diagnose refrigeration circuits, electrical systems, and control components.
- Perform brazing, leak detection, evacuation, and refrigerant charging.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and complete detailed service reports.
- Support equipment startup and commissioning.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience.
- Strong background in refrigeration and low-temp systems.
- Experience with VRV/VRF, chillers, boilers, and packaged units.
- Advanced electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics and control diagrams.
- Proficient in brazing and refrigerant best practices.
- Working knowledge of BAS/DDC systems.
Required Certifications
- Kentucky Journeyman HVAC License.
- EPA Certification (Universal preferred).
