HVAC Technician

One of our manufacturing client is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to maintain and service heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related facility systems at their Grand Rapids, MI location. Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.00/hour Shift: Day Shift Responsibilities Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation, and air-handling equipment Diagnose HVAC system issues and complete repairs efficiently to minimize equipment downtime Service air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, chillers, rooftop units, air handlers, pumps, and related equipment Troubleshoot electrical and control components associated with HVAC systems Monitor temperatures, pressures, airflow, and other system operating conditions Perform refrigerant-related service in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures Inspect HVAC equipment and identify potential problems before equipment failure occurs Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of hands-on HVAC maintenance and repair experience, preferably in industrial environment Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and HVAC control systems Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation Experience working with industrial HVAC equipment, chillers, boilers, or cooling towers Familiarity with building automation or HVAC control systems
