Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively
- Diagnose issues with HVAC and refrigeration equipment using appropriate tools and techniques
- Read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and blueprints
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts or components
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes
- Collaborate with clients to assess HVAC needs and recommend solutions
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in refrigeration and HVAC technology
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician or similar role
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA 608 Certification, HVAC/R certification)
- Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and HVAC principles
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
