HVAC Technician

Job Summary

Brunswick is seeking a detail-oriented HVAC technician to join their team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial HVAC systems. Key responsibilities include cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, diagnosing faults, performing warranty services, and handling emergency repairs. Customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent, and technical diploma in HVAC related coursework preferred.
• 8+ years of experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
• Possess current HVAC license or certificates.
• EPA & Journeyman’s.
• Valid driver's license.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Working knowledge of boiler systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.

Qualifications
