We are looking for a Building Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team. As part of a fast-paced, dynamic maintenance team, you will ensure the safety and functionality of our stores. Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and functionality of store buildings
• Clean and organize maintenance-related areas to comply with regulations
• Perform electrical work up to and including 480 vac/3 phase
• Conduct lighting repairs, replacements, and upgrades
• Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and oiling
• Apply paint, varnish, and stain to various surfaces using appropriate tools
• Repair drywall and other surface materials
• Complete minor roofing repairs and keep rooflines and drains clear
• Adjust and maintain doors and door openers
• Repair and patch floor surfaces
• Troubleshoot, repair, and service HVAC equipment, including compressor change-outs, motor replacements, leak detection, and repairing belts, filters, and drains
• Service and replace plumbing fixtures
• Conduct electrical generator inspections, operations, and minor repairs
• Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum one to three years of HVAC and general building repair/maintenance experience
• Universal Certificate preferred; National Refrigeration Certificate or willingness to acquire within two years
• Willingness to travel to other Boscov's locations
• Ability to work with minimal direction
• Open availability, including evenings and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school background helpful
