HVAC Technician

Position Summary: The HVAC Technician will participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of HVAC systems and associated processes. Role And Responsibilities Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sitesExecute HVAC preventative maintenance procedures, daily checks, inspectionsReview specifications, conduct site inspections, review system design, drawings, and blueprintsObtain supplies and spare parts, understanding repair manuals and parts catalogsAnalyze problems and identify corrective measuresExtensive troubleshooting of all site-wide HVAC and associated Process Equipment, Plant Utility & Facility Refrigeration Systems, Air Handlers, Supply Air Systems, Exhaust Systems, Cooling and Heating CoilsAdditional duties as directed by job site foreman, project manager, and supervisor Qualifications Essential Skills & Characteristics: Ability to work independently or as part of a teamFollow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workersStrict adherence to all safety rules and qualityInteract with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous mannerAt times may perform clerical/administrative dutiesMaintain good documentation and record keepingParticipate in site housekeepingKnowledge of cooling tower water chemistry and control systems Educational & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or relevant field experience5 years of Field Experience, trade school or apprenticeshipOSHA 10 certificationAppropriate State/Federal certifications/licensesAdvanced knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systemsUnderstanding and development of daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) As a 100% employee-owned company, A/Z Corporation is committed to supporting the well-being and financial success of its Team Members by offering a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, life, and vision insurance, disability coverage, mental wellbeing services, a 401(k) retirement plan, profit-sharing opportunities, paid vacation and holidays, and other benefits for eligible Team Members.
