HVAC Technician $20 - $45/hr + Bonuses

Troubleshooting and Repair

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC and ventilation systems.
• Use root-cause analysis to ensure long-term solutions.
• Perform comprehensive maintenance, including cleaning air handlers and coils, system calibration, and replacing wear-and-tire components.
• Evaluate aging or inefficient equipment and educate customers on system replacements and ongoing maintenance memberships.
• Maintain professional rapport with homeowners to better understand lifestyle needs and system requirements.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch to work in tight spaces.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders.
• Must be able to work in both extreme heat and cold, as well as adverse weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of local HVAC codes and safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
