HVAC Surveyor, GCOE

Responsibilities

• Support Johnson Controls Building Solutions HVAC sales associates in performing on-time and accurate customer site surveys and project design deliverables in support of the Global Center of Excellence Network.
• Work together with GCoE Application Engineers while proactively maintaining local authority familiarity, sub-contractor relationships, and a working knowledge of the core JCI Controls, Equipment and Service product offerings.
• Perform a critical function as part of the GCoE network to ensure that JCI HVAC seller’s pre-sale needs are met through a focus on high quality collaboration, professional on-site assessments, and by adhering to a standardized process and deliverables.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of field experience in HVAC Operations, Installation/Service and or 8 plus years of HVAC Sales experience.
• Minimum of five years of field experience, such as installation technician or successful sales representative, in HVAC; including controls, mechanical, equipment, service and/or equipment maintenance programs, etc.
• Experience with IP networking common practices, to include up to a minimum Layer 3 basic concepts and functions.
• Experience with computer aided drafting software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal.
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence to make sound business conscious decisions in stressful environment.
• Strong PC Proficiency includes Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint.
• Ability to learn JCI specific platforms to include but not limited to; Salesforce, Selection Navigator, NxGen, etc.
• Time Management and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to drive to customer and JCI branch locations. Occasional travel but limited.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in proficient system design and installation, or service program cost estimating of HVAC controls or equipment in a commercial sales environment.

Pay

Hiring Salary Range: $91,000 to $115,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
