HVAC Specialist

Duties

• Lead person working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager responsible for all aspects of the facility's heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment including repairs and maintenance.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on low pressure boilers, heat pumps, chillers, valves, piping, thermostats, air filters, pumps, blowers, belts, bearings, and other associated equipment.
• Work closely and in conjunction with the entire maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance procedures are performed on all associated equipment.
• Work with the Facility Expeditor to keep an organized critical spare parts inventory and assist in parts procurement.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a 2-year degree in HVAC & Refrigeration.
• At least 5-7 years of hands-on related experience.
• Refrigerant certification.
• Ability to solder and braze.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer literacy for managing and manipulating the Building Automated System software.
