HVAC Service Technician- Up to $55/hr

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and public-sector customers.
• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC systems.
• Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to maintain the schedule and communicate delays to customers.
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle, including refueling, reporting mechanical issues, and submitting monthly vehicle inspection forms. Vehicles should be washed regularly.
• Maintain proper stock of parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience.
• RI J1 or J2 license OR MA journeyman pipe fitter/sheet metal/refrigeration license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid EPA Certificate.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Pay

Up to $55 per hour, depending on experience. Higher pay for prevailing wage jobs.

Location

Smithfield, RI. Service area includes Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts.
