HVAC Service Technician- Lansing, MI

About The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team servicing commercial and industrial clients throughout Lansing and the surrounding area. The ideal candidate is a skilled troubleshooter, self-starter, and committed to delivering high-quality service in the field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, chillers, and boilers
• Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools to identify and resolve system issues
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability
• Accurately complete electronic service documentation using a handheld device
• Operate a company-provided service vehicle within an assigned territory
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and HVAC troubleshooting skills
• Experience with chilled water systems, boilers, and/or hydronics preferred
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred; company-provided if needed
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR
• Ability to pass required background check, drug screening, and physical ability assessment

Pay

$30.00–$50.00/hour, based on experience. Performance-based incentives. Company-provided service vehicle.
