HVAC Service Technician (Evening and Weekends)

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential homes
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC issues, including heating/cooling malfunctions, air quality issues, and system inefficiencies
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning systems, and testing equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Engage with customers during evening and weekend hours to inform them of issues, solutions, and the overall status of their HVAC systems
• Recommend products and services to customers that will optimize HVAC system performance and energy efficiency
• Read and interpret technical diagrams to install or troubleshoot HVAC systems properly
• Ensure all work follows national and local building codes and regulations for HVAC systems
• Use Service Titan software to track repairs, maintenance, and service calls during evening and weekend hours, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure HVAC systems are functioning safely in accordance with industry standards
• Provide a high level of customer service with attention to detail and a professional attitude

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC service technician or a similar role
• HVAC certification or equivalent experience from a technical/trade school is preferred
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, cooling, and air quality equipment
• Experience with Service Titan or similar trade software is a plus
• Strong communication skills to explain HVAC issues and solutions clearly to customers
• Able to perform accurate work while adhering to all codes and regulations
• A commitment to delivering exceptional service with a positive attitude, particularly during evening and weekend hours
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Pay

USD $35.00/Hr. USD $60.00/Hr.
