HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and act in the customer's best interest at all times.
• Conduct maintenance and repair: Perform preventive maintenance for new and existing customers, respond to on-demand service calls for down HVAC systems.
• Inventory Control: Maintain your service van stock according to company SOP, ensuring proper stock for day-to-day operations.
• Safety and compliance: Follow all workplace and driving safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records.

Requirements

• Relevant HVAC training program or apprenticeship is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician.
• Valid driver’s license and EPA certification; NATE certification and Master Heat Pump Technician certification are a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

• Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights; physical stamina and dexterity.
• Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members.
• Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.

Pay

Pay range: $80,000 USD - $120,000 USD.

Work Environment

• Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces.
• Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds.
• Operates hand and power tools and vehicles.
