HVAC Service Technician

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
  • Install and replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and airflow issues.
  • Service light commercial HVAC equipment as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and commercial customers.
  • Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous HVAC installation or service experience (residential or commercial).
  • EPA Section 608 Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain if required).
  • Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, construction, or trade school experience is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds and work safely in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Apprentice Wage: $21.18 per hour plus a comprehensive union benefits package.
  • Experienced Union Technicians: Competitive union wages based on classification and experience under the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
