HVAC Service Technician

What You'll Do

• Build strong customer relationships by providing knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment.
• Provide start-ups and troubleshooting for residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems.
• Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
• Accurately and timely complete invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.
• Participate actively in all training exercises, continued education, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience (residential and light commercial)
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification (NATE preferred)
• Your own tools, gauges, and multimeter
• Experience interacting with customers, building customer trust, and promoting repeat business
• A clean driving record and valid license
• A professional appearance and positive attitude
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and tools weighing up to 50–75 lbs independently
• Frequent climbing of ladders, crawling into tight spaces (crawlspaces/attics), and working in awkward positions for extended periods
• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, requiring exposure to extreme temperatures

Pay Range

$23 - $30 per hour
