About the role

Seeking a service technician who can diagnose commercial systems, not just maintain them. Pay scale is based on experience, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive HVAC/VRF Expertise: Install, diagnose, repair, and commission systems, including advanced VRF/VRV platforms.
• Advanced Systems Troubleshooting: Isolate and resolve complex technical issues, such as branch controller malfunctions and electrical faults.
• Technical Literacy & Service Tools: Interpret wiring diagrams, use manufacturer service tools, and analyze system error codes.
• System Startup & Refrigerant Diagnostics: Execute comprehensive equipment startups and perform advanced refrigerant diagnostics.
• Digital Documentation & Customer Consulting: Document faults using ServiceTitan, present service options to clients, and provide digital documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Experienced Commercial Technician: 3+ years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service, EPA 608 Certification, and valid NYS driver’s license.
• Electrical & Controls Proficiency: Proficient in reading and troubleshooting electrical and control faults.
• VRF/VRV Specialization: Advanced diagnostic experience with Mitsubishi City Multi and Daikin VRV/VRF systems.
• Safety & Compliance Preparedness: Focus on job site safety, ready to obtain OSHA 30 and NYC SST certifications.
