About the role
Work closely and in alignment with VP of Service to develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of annual sales goals, department growth, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all members of the Service Sales team meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes.
- Responsible for the performance and development of the Service Sales team.
- Conduct regular coaching and counseling with Service Sales team members to coach, train, and align goals and expectations.
- Maintains relationships with key clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Demonstrates the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
- Prepares action plans by individuals and teams for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Initiates and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Affords assistance with business development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Conducts one-on-one reviews with all Service Sales team members to build more effective communications, understand training and development needs, and provide insight for improving service sales and activity performance.
- Provides timely, accurate, and competitive pricing on all proposals that are submitted for pricing and approval while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
- Affords assistance to Service Sales team members in the preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of prior sales experience required.
- Prior management in Sales experience is highly preferred.
- Good time management, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent PC skills (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
