Midway Mechanical Services is building a best-in-class national estimating team and is seeking a high-output Commercial HVAC Remodel Estimator. This role focuses on producing accurate, high-margin estimates across national remodel projects. While there is opportunity to grow into client-facing or sales responsibilities over time, specialization in commercial estimating is equally valued.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, high-margin commercial HVAC remodel estimates
• Estimate scopes including duct, grilles, air curtains, RTUs, labor, travel, and materials
• Perform takeoffs from plans, photos, and surveys
• Manage bids, vendors, and timelines
• Identify risks and drive profitability
• Leverage tools and AI to improve speed and consistency

Requirements

• HVAC estimating experience (remodels preferred)
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and pricing
• Detail-oriented, high-output, margin-focused mindset
• Experience with estimating tools (Bluebeam, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to work independently

Career Path

Start as a high-output estimator. Over time, you may choose to expand into client interaction or sales, or continue building deep expertise in estimating. Both paths are valued.

Pay

• Base Salary: ~$60,000 (flexible based on experience)
• Performance Compensation: ~$20,000+ based on wins and margin
