HVAC/R Technician

About the role

7‑Eleven is hiring an HVAC/R Technician I to keep stores running smoothly, from ensuring Slurpee machines are perfectly chilled to handling in‑store maintenance challenges.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, and other in‑store equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of systems.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems using the latest tools and technology.
• Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with a supportive team.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years in HVAC or refrigeration repair and maintenance.
• Certifications: EPA 608 (Type I and II or Universal) Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Skills: Strong problem‑solving, leadership potential, and ability to work independently.

Pay

$18.00 – $32.00 hourly (range reflects 7‑Eleven’s good‑faith estimate for this state and may vary).
