About the role

The HVAC/R Chiller Diagnostics and Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing chiller systems in industrial settings. This position requires a strong background in HVAC/R technology and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair chiller systems using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Perform preventive maintenance on chiller units to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop and implement maintenance plans.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC/R diagnostics and repair.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industry certification in HVAC/R preferred.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of HVAC/R diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of chiller system operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
