HVAC Project Manager

About the role

Our Family Broadway National, one of Inc. 5000’s fastest growing privately owned companies, provides national and international property management services to high-profile clientele across a wide range of industries, including tech, restaurant, supermarket, facility maintenance, retail, and specialty sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of commercial HVAC projects, including new installations, equipment replacements, and system retrofits
• Develop detailed project estimates, take-offs, and proposals for HVAC scopes of work
• Review plans and specifications to determine project requirements, materials, and labor needs
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field technicians to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and report on job profitability
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, permits, and safety regulations
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
• Prepare change orders and manage scope adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with the sales and estimating teams on new business opportunities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC project management, construction management, or a related field
• Prior experience with HVAC estimating and bid preparation strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices
• Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and safety standards
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Proficiency with project management and estimating software
