CSE is seeking HVAC Project Install Technicians for our Special Projects Division. Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys building and working as part of a team?
Responsibilities
- Tackle unit replacements, mechanical and controls retrofits, plan-spec work, and design-build solutions.
- Work in various environments including indoor, outdoor, tight spaces, and heights.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Work well in a team environment and enjoy building and solving problems.
- Handle low-voltage electrical work, wiring, and controls.
- Perform brazing, soldering, or pipefitting as needed.
- Work with rooftop units (RTUs) and split systems.
- Show strong problem-solving skills and adaptability on job sites.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Ensure strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the HVAC field or related construction experience.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Experience with HVAC system installation or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping installation.
- Understanding of low-voltage electrical work, wiring, and controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience with brazing, soldering, or pipefitting.
- Familiarity with rooftop units (RTUs) and split systems.
- Ability to work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, tight spaces, heights).
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability on job sites.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently when needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Qualifications
- Bonus Certifications (Not Required, but a Plus!): EPA Certification, Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Boom Lift Certifications, OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
