HVAC Project Install Technician - Harrisburg Area

CSE is seeking HVAC Project Install Technicians for our Special Projects Division. Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys building and working as part of a team?

Responsibilities

• Tackle unit replacements, mechanical and controls retrofits, plan-spec work, and design-build solutions.
• Work in various environments including indoor, outdoor, tight spaces, and heights.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Work well in a team environment and enjoy building and solving problems.
• Handle low-voltage electrical work, wiring, and controls.
• Perform brazing, soldering, or pipefitting as needed.
• Work with rooftop units (RTUs) and split systems.
• Show strong problem-solving skills and adaptability on job sites.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Ensure strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the HVAC field or related construction experience.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Experience with HVAC system installation or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping installation.
• Understanding of low-voltage electrical work, wiring, and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with brazing, soldering, or pipefitting.
• Familiarity with rooftop units (RTUs) and split systems.
• Ability to work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, tight spaces, heights).
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability on job sites.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Bonus Certifications (Not Required, but a Plus!): EPA Certification, Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Boom Lift Certifications, OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
